I’m on pause, too, at least until december (too many papers to write).
I’m not with a coven.
I hope I can start working through BAG later this year or maybe in February. I joined a BAG yahoo group, but it seems to be pretty inactive. Would be nice to talk about it, but I guess I’ll be doing it alone.

i suggest you start learning by yourself first. it’s fun discovering and learning things without the pressure.

all my materials have been kept since i paused. but i still touch my faerie tarot deck from time to time.

I’ll most probably continue working on my own. Covens were I live are mostly gardnerian, and I am just a low-profile pagan.

There is much of value there...

Learning of the healing spirits and the power of the earth, this is good thing. The fact that its not based in the negativism of “judeo-christian traditional religion” is even better.

Have you read ‘A Witch Alone’ by Marian Green? I have found it to be insightful thus far.

I tend to be leary of covens. I prefer my solitary journey and talk/learn from all types of pagans/nonpagans alike. I discover more about myself.

I actually thought of anwering him something along that line. I thought of politely explaining that I don’t worhip Satan. I even thought of telling that person about the Christian friends that don’t try to scare me with hell and all that. I considered asking him to go preach somewhere else. But I’m sure it would only start a huge debate, so I chose to just ignore him. I probably should delete his (?) entry.
