to local state univ. Am writing an email/note to request that he be invited as many others have, to speak about his new book & other world issues.

I met President Carter when I was in the eighth grade and we took a class field trip to the Carter center. I went to school with a kid who was related to him. He was also at my high school graduation, but I didn’t get to talk to him then.
Regardless of what has been said of his presidency, he is a truly amazing human being and has done more for the world AFTER being president than I believe any other president has done in office or out of office.
