tag all of my things
Phew. 1 year ago

It took a little while to tag EVERYTHING, but now all my goals have at least one tag. It’s really helpful to see what’s important to me, as well as how exactly I have improved/will improve myself in various parts of my life.

It’s good. I’d recommend it. Best to start early (if you have only a few or at least a manageable amount of goals), and just tag each new goal as you add it to your list.

Can you explain

How do I tag all of my goals?

It

Well, you go the “Your _ Things” page, and click on each of your goals. Then there’s a little section on the right side of each specific “goal” page that says “Your Tags” and a green ”+” mark that says “Add Tags.” You have to go to each different goal that you have and add some keyword, or tag. This is why it takes a really long time (if you have a lot of goals) because they’re all separate. Does that help, or were you asking about some other part?

I'll check it out

I feel a little silly when I’m learning something new. Thanks I’ll try it. But how do tags help???

It

They help because usually people’s lists of goals can be sorted into groups. For example, if someone were concerned about their health, they might tag “lose weight,” “drink more water,” and “get more sleep” with the word “health.” Then it would say on their main goals page that they have 3 goals tagged “health.” They might have other goals, too, that fit into other tag groups (education, family, work, etc.) The benefit of this is that you can see what most of your goals are about and where your priorities are.

That’s just one way of doing it. The idea is that some tag groups are going to be larger than others, and this website shows that by using bigger fonts (see the Zeitgeist for everyone’s tags here).

Hee. I’m not usually great at explaining stuff, but I hope I made sense.

It's your heart that I love

Thanks for taking the time to explain this to me. I’m fascinated by the whole 43 thing and all at the same time i’m not totally sure what I’m getting out of it. and there are things to learn that are taking me time to get it. like what are teams and how does that work? You don’t have to explain although you did do a good job with tags i got it. i’ll figure it out in time Thanks for your kind heart.!
