Went through a phase of writing short stories – fantasy/horror – a few years back. Sent ‘em out, got ‘em back, got some rejections that actually had nice encouraging comments on them, but lost heart. However…re-read some of them lately and realized they weren’t that bad. All I need now is the chutzpah to start sending ‘em out again!
You have the heart.. just get some editing done and go out there and face that world of vulnerability and the painful critique. It is not so bad when you take it all with a grain of salt. :-)
