As a society many of us have been brainwashed to see beauty in the images we see in the magazines and on the television. Images of airbrushed models on the cover of a magazine and the movie stars we see everyday in movies. In this way, life immitates art creating a very biased definition of what and who is beautiful. Do you rush out and get the latest in cosmetic surgery in the hopes that your new flat belly or perfectly rounded breasts will squash these insecurities (only to find out that what you paid all that money for has been thrown off of this year’s fashion runway – so you keep nipping & tucking to keep up with the latest trend) OR….do you look within?
