What did the holidays do for me?

Well… as no doubt nearly all of us did this holidays we ate more of what we shouldn’t and less of what we should.

All my days started off good, I went for a lot of 4 mile runs and then had my protein shake and wholemeal toast with peanut butter.

But then the inevitable travelling around, been invited out to parties, family get togethers left me out of the house with no food prepared so I ate fast food, resturant meals etc…

After reading that back it sounds like I’m going to say I put on 10lbs lol, but really calorie wise I was only slightly above my maintenance levels.

I weighed this morning 173lbs (up 1.4lbs from 2 weeks ago) giving me a bmi of 25.5 (+0.2)

I’m not bothered about this weight at all, couple of weeks work and I’ll be back

So I didn’t make it to 25 by the end of the year hey hoo.

I did how ever really enjoy my eating at christmas, I enjoyed every little treat and meal.

On a plus note I didn’t smoke. yay me. Thats 8 week of no smoking now.

I’m going to be setting myself some weight goals soon, I’ll post em when I’ve decided what they are :)

Yay for no smoking

It may be one of the reasons that you really enjoyed ALL the treats so much. (you could taste them better).
