So it’s January. And I just graduated from college, and I still don’t have a job. But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t thought about it a lot.
A couple of months ago, I was so caught up with making a choice—making a choice on my career path, or making a choice whether to pursue writing or environmental science.
But after talking to a couple of people, I’ve realized that choices are open to us every day, and I shouldn’t worry about whether one job will lead me to another, or whether I should do one career or another. It’s perfectly fine to do biology and do writing on the side. No one can really predict the future, so I should just go out there and find a job. If I don’t like it, I can always do something else.
