i just feel like i look like a slob. i don’t spend the money on taking care of my outward appearance, and maybe that seems vain, but i think to some degree, everyone should take care of themselves in that way. pamper as in buying nice lotions, nice facewash, new clothes (instead of every six months! ugh), etcetc.

Hum, I guess it depends on how much you purchase every 6 months…and what. I shop every year, but that’s because I hate shopping. ;) I should take more time for myself, but not in outward apperance. I was thinking of yoga or dance with posture first…then perhaps I’ll do something with my hair rather than leave it in a low ponytail.
oh totally agree about the hair thing! sometimes i don’t even brush it and just throw it up in a half-assed bun. really bad. and i really don’t spend much on clothes. i just have other things i’d rather spend it on, i guess. like traveling! though, i think that is a nice ‘other thing’ to spend it on…

Perhaps we can help eachother on hair styles? I dont even know where to start. I prefer styles that I don’t need a mirror for, or nothing that pulls or get tangled, even though I love the cute barretes they really get stuck in my fine hair.
I was thinking of headbands, but those can get annoying if they’re functional.
What does that leave?
i actually like the idea of headbands, though i’m afraid i will be adjusting them too much? i think they look really cute, but i’m just not sure it’s for me.
barrets i’ve never really liked. they always have the tendency to move down my hair, so i’d just have to readjust, etcetc. though maybe that is why so many girls go to the bathroom; to fix their hair. i’ve never had that problem, ha.

So after those things, what does that leave? I’m pretty lacking when it comes to creativity with my hair. :)
I do like the old pin-up glamour girl hair styles, but they’re just a little short and look like they’re really high maintanence.
