Understand the Meaning of Life
Its amazing 2 years ago

It’s weird how the centre of our solar system is the home of our sun, without the sun no planets could survive, one day the sun will blow up (Supernova) but it wont happen for an estimated millions of year, lets just hope humanity doesnt distroy itself.

well buddy...

If you want to understand the meaning of life you have a long way to go. Yes, all the planets could survive without the sun; there just wouldn’t be the heat necessary to sustain life. But no, the sun will never blow up in a supernova explosion, because any stellar object under 8 solar masses lacks sufficient mass to create the fusion layers inside the star and fuse the core into iron (and since it requires more energy to fuse iron than is released, the core collapses, casing the supernova). Our sun will go through it’s evolution off the main sequence of stars, go into a planetary nebula, and become a white dwarf star, which will slowly cool. But none of this will happen for roughly another 5 billion years, because the sun has enough hydrogen reserves to sustain nuclear hydrogen-to-helium fusion for about 10 billion years; 5 of which it has already expended. So how about we get our facts straight before rambling on about the meaning of life like a dumbass, mmkay?
