survive my divorce
Hang in there 3 years ago

After 11 years and 4 children, my husband decided he wasn’t happy anymore and needed to date. He started dating a 19 year old then moved on to someoen else. I begged and pleaded but at the end of the day he had made up his mind. He said it was time he started living for himself. We had just moved to a new town and bought a home. I did not know a single person and I literally felt like I was going to die. I know exactly why they call it heartbreak. I felt many times pain on an actual physical level that I thought I would never live through. There is hope!!! I turned to God in my hour of need and I sought out a church. There I found wonderful friends and I slowly began to build back my life. Surviving a divorce is worth it. If you turn your life over to God then He will carry you through and bless you beyond what you could imagine. My advice is to get the best lawyer money can buy to protect yourself BUT also take the high road whenever possible. Even when you have all the blame cast upon you, try to turn the other cheek. In the end, you will be the better person for it.
