I would like to learn but no one I know with a manual car will help me, saying “Sure I’ll teach you, but not on my car!” Now I have heard that it damages the engine a tiny bit, but how is anyone supposed to learn like that?! Will a few hours a teaching REALLY damage the car to the point where it’s unusable or even needs repair?
The car would be fine. Unless you are a REALLY slow learner, which I am sure you are not.
I taught both my younger brothers in my car, and my car survived. That is too bad that no one will teach you. I could suggest doing what I did, and have a car salesman teach you…there’s no rule that says you have to buy a car from them.
