why do you want to be a massage therapist? 1 year ago

I really advise people to consider why they want to be a massage therapist. If it’s to make money you will not stay in the profession for long. I also recommend you talk to other massage therapist and find out what school involves. People think it is easy to learn and fail to realize the amount of A&P required. Other than that I think massage therapy is awesome. I absolutely love my profession and school truly changed my life.

So, what does school involve? How long does it actually take? How hard is it to get clients, to actually practice?

I am drawn to this as a career change because creating a healing space for people to once again hear their own bodies seems so important in this age of disconnect.
