My roommate is a musician and knows SO MUCH about all types of music. I feel rather uneducated around him. So I’m on the hunt for some good acoustic/indie/punk bands. Suggestions?

i would recommend checking out kexp.org. it’s a public radio station in seattle washington that plays great indie rock. my favorite show is with john richards in the morning. happy kexp-ing!

If you can listen to music on your computer while you do other things I find listening to Pandora the best way to find new music. I’ve found dozens of artists that are new to me that I love on Pandora.com. Take a look at my entries under my goal “Spread the joy of Pandora” for more info.
