Worth doing!

Did this with Cookie, last night.  — 1 year ago

Cookie said, “I think we just ruined a good pale ale. And a good ice cream.” May have worked better with a darker beer. Still worth doing, to discover that it’s not worth doing again (at least the vanilla/pale ale combo isn’t).

It was a preliminary run.

And educational. Now, we know what not to do. I’m turned off enough to want a root beer float, instead, actually.

pale ale

I was surprised it was that bad, actually, because the pale ale ice cream at Mario’s Gelati, in Vancouver, is quite good. Go figure.

I’m thinking that, if Ben & Jerry make it, it can’t be bad. Maybe an alternative to the beer float?
