The travel bug only bit me in my 31st year, but it did so with a vengance. I made two trips to the UK last year, and despite numerous disasters (such as having a minor bingle in a car, getting booked for speeding 5 miles over the speed limit, losing my passport and half my luggage), I had an absolute ball. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that if funds permitted, I’d be out the door so fast that you’d think I was a streak of lightning!
