grow all of my food
Untitled

Well, it is not all my food, but my 1st garden ever is certainly flourishing. I have loads of radishes, and I have picked 2 zuchinni. My tomatoes are coming along nicely (I just staked them up) and my spaghetti squash is flowering. My corn is starting to form, and the beans are climbing off the trellice I made. My peppers are still small, but they are now just growing. My hot peppers are coming along well too. and Canteloupe is moving along too. Peas have come and gone. Imagine all that I have and will produce without pesticides or fertilizer. Everyone should have even a small garden to sustain themselves. It reduces the impact on the earth done by industrial agriculture, and also helps your budget by reduce need for supermarket food.

Gardens!

I agree. I read somewhere that a bumper sticker existed that was “Grow, not Mow!” It encouraged growing food instead of a lawn that must be cut. I think it makes sense…. maybe only in my mind?

it only makes sense to me. Why waste fossil fuils on a patch of land that could be put to better use? (rhetorical)
