Well, the laptop arrived a day early, and given that all the other pieces of the puzzle are already in place, I think I’m going to get started tonight.

Minor software glitch: the laptop didn’t come w/MS word. Solution: get the husband to find me a free word processor that will have spell check and word count capabilities.
Major asset: the laptop has its own wireless card, so I won’t have to spend time installing Bellsouth’s wireless adaptor.
