I’ll definitely do that too (hoping that I’ll still have the same address then..)
The thing is, I’m gonna find the letter again and again, when I move stuff, but I’ll forget about the email.. that makes it more interesting i think.

I don’t trust my friends enough to give them a letter and have them send it to me in five years.. they’d forget lol

great idea

Hey, that’s a good idea, if your e-card provider of choice doesn’t offer cards you can send in advance.
I wouldn’t use them for too many years in advance though… who knows if those people keep their email addresses or if you even still talk to them =P

one year

I did this for a church thing awhile back… we wrote letters to ourself while we were in the process of joining the Catholic church and our coordinator mailed them to us a year later. I had completely forgotten about the letter and it was a great surprise to receive it and see how much things had changed in such a short period of time. Good luck with this one… definitely worth it!

did you really..

.. forget that you wrote it? That must have been cool.
I can never forget stuff like that, so it won’t be as big of a surprise for me. I’m probably even gonna remember what I wrote about. Maybe I should aim for 20 years instead?
