When my wife and I got married we spent 4 days in southwest Michigan in a bed and breakfast on Lake Michigan. From that point forward we decided that it is our goal to live on Lake Michigan. We travel up there every summer and we think about this goal almost every day.
It is a beautiful place to live. Climate is really excellent (I think), there’s lots to do, and it’s a good place to raise a family.
Grew up near Detroit and wouldn’t move out of Berrien County for anything!LOL The weather takes some getting used to (even for someone FROM Michigan) but I absolutely LOVE it!
