It’s definitely still available & can be bought through Amazon here in the U.S. I will ask the publisher to look into why it wouldn’t be available in Japan!

Hello Ruth!
I don’t know who supplies Amazon Japan with their titles. I assume there is a Japanese equivalent to Ingram [U.S. book distributor]. In the US, we (WordFarm) supply Amazon directly.
The book is available and active, so I can’t think of why it would not be available (everywhere).
We can get a book to her directly if she can’t order it in Japan.
It would be interesting to know if a Japanese bookstore is able to special order it. If they can’t order it either, then the problem would be at the distributor level.
Let me know if you want me to sell her a copy directly.
