I slacked on this for a while. I’m starting easy and working on knee pushups for now. I can do ten without too much struggling right now. It’s a long way away from when I could do 20 or so regular pushups in a couple of minutes, but it took me a few years to get this weak, so I can wait a few months to be that strong again.

Keep pushing and good luck with the belly dancing, too. You’ll soon have a core of steel.
Thanks, I hope so. I keep telling myself that no matter where I am now, I’m stronger than I was the week before. Still, it’d be nice if I could skip past the “getting stronger” phase and just be stronger!
