Not easy
It’s not easy trying to learn a new language. I’m not even sure why I picked Portuguese. Seems everyone wants to have a go with Spanish, so maybe I just want to be different. :)

Good Luck with learnig Portuguese. Do you know of any Portuguese classes in Helsinki? I’m a foreigner living here but will move to Portugal in the summer. I can speak Portuguese but would like to improve.

Actually, I don’t. I’ve been studying independently for now, lately rather irregular I must say.
I know there are courses atleast in Open University, but they’ve all started long time ago for this semester. :/
Why are you moving to Portugal?
My girlfriend is Portuguese. I also have a job offer in Lisbon, similar to the work I do here. I’ve not really been studying much, I find it difficult to motivate myself. I went to classes some years ago before I moved to Finland, back then my grammar was pretty passable – but it has really gone downhill since! In February we have a Portuguese girl starting at my work so I thought that I would try and practise a little with her.
