"I've knocked the bastard off!"

On January 16th, I traveled to Tanzania. On January 23rd, 7:31am, I stood at Uhuru Peak taking in the sunrise over Africa. It’s hard to describe what it felt like to be at Uhuru Peak, 5895m a.s.l. All in a sudden, the 7 hour trip of dragging myself there was worth it (and trust me, that’s a very sick statement to make…). If you want to know more about the trip, check out my trip notes on www.haslimeier.org/kili.html.

Journal

Hey, thanks for your line – glad you found it useful! No matter what I said in that journal, you should go with your boss! It’s a worthwhile adventure! Loved it! Go on, you can do it! If you have time make sure you see some of the national parks too!
