I only have a small kitchen, but I LOVE cooking! I have a terrible habit of using every pot, pan, plate, glass and piece of cutlery I own to produce mini gourmet feasts, and then leaving the washing up until the next day (ewww! I know!). Or else, I do the washing up, and create a drying rack full to Jenga like proportions, from which I carefully extract a single fork to use, but leave the rest alone until it actually starts falling off onto the floor (necessitating re-washing, bah!) I’ve decided its a much nicer feeling to walk into the kitchen in the morning and find the work tops & sink clear, and everything back in the cupboards and drawers where it belongs. So from now on, I’m going to make the effort to do the washing up if not immediately after eating, at least within the same 12 hours, there’s only one of me living here, how hard can it be!!?
