Formed in 1998, on the reputable Washington, D.C based Dischord Records; this endearing three-piece outfit were widely known as one of the most beloved bands to create danceable post-punk. The band had a very unique quality of producing oblique yet upbeat and endearing music which would become a trademark of the band’s future work, setting them apart from their aurally less forgiving D.C. hardcore peers and bringing them more into line with the budding dance-punk scene

The band disbanded in September 2005 after completing their touring commitments and a short farewell stand in Washington, D.C
