Looks like I will probably be cancelling my Netflix subscription, then, as least temporarily. I guess that’s ok. I don’t have time to watch many full-length films this semester, unfortunately.

Do you have a talent you can use in trade for the repair. I.E. landscaping, tax preparation, house cleaning etc. If so solicit that to someone who does that type of repair….craigslist.com even has a barter section you could post an ad for free.

That's really a great idea.

I’ll keep it in the back of my mind for another time. I might have some skills I could trade – the difficulty is that I’m up to my ears in schoolwork at the moment, so there’s no way I’d have time to barter that way now, unfortunately. But thanks!
