As the first semester drew to a close, the students were required to complete 20 hours of community service and write 2 essays about it. The day teachers were required to hand in final grades, my government teacher allowed me to finish my project when I got home and e-mail it to her overnight. She still passed me even though I didn’t do the class projects as well.

Being the teacher’s pet does have it’s benefits.
