Finish 3:40 worth of animation this month! (read all 15 entries…)
Ugh. 2 years ago

Yesterday was reasonably productive, although my sister flew into town, so I cut my day short when she showed up. Unfortunately, we both got food poisoning from dinner, which has kind of sucked the life out of my day. I did manage to make it to a meeting in the early afternoon, but I walked home in the pretty weather and it’s thrown me for a loop. I wanted to get one simple scene out today, but I’m running a fever and need my naps. Oh well. At least I’m relatively ahead of schedule—I have two scenes left on my second piece, so I will finish it this week and have the next one for cleanups, etc.

Literal-minded

I am trying not to connect the second sentence and the phrase “have the next one for cleanups, etc.”

Trying, but failing.

I assume the food poisoning sequelae are not what is being cleaned up, but rather the animation. Please tell me that I’m right.

Eww!

No, the other left the building a while ago… I don’t think I could live with, as you put it, “sequelae” getting nasty around the house…

I have plenty of time to finish off the things in my animation that will no doubt need fixing, including my own personal wishlist.

Waynesworld The cold weather has arrived!

Hope you're both feeling better.

I watched an exposé on TV tonight on health concerns involving fast-food coffee shops in Canada. Makes me want to be very careful about where I buy my coffee and muffins! Someone I know at work doesn’t like going to restaurants because they are worried about how the food is prepared in the kitchen, etc. Now I understand a bit more about where this person is coming from!

I eat out all the time...

and actually, this was one of my favorite posh restaurants. I’ve been going to it once or twice a year since it opened and this is the first time I’ve gotten sick.

It’s comparatively easy to get food poisoning as a vegetarian. It’s just harder to wash vegetables as well, and we can also get sick from meat-y bits that slosh onto our food, since long-term vegetarians stop being able to process meat proteins well. It’s much easier to read labels in a grocery store than bother the waiter about specific ingredients, but I’m lazy and don’t cook often…

blincolnw needs to update this list!

Food poisoning is terrible, I hope you feel better soon.
