The Law of Attraction

Can you hear the rumblings? People are just this week starting to talk about The Secret. But it’s coming on hard and fast. The word is spreading quickly.

A viral video campaign featuring the first 20 minutes of the new movie; The Secret has hit the web and is all the rage. I have to confess, I bought it.

It’s inspiring, entertaining and there is much fact interlaced within the wide-eyed optimism the movie espouses.

Famous authors, doctors, philosophers, visionaries, meta-physicists all sign on as teachers to share their opinions and advice on The Secret.

In the end, I highly recommend it. You will come away better than had you not been exposed to The Secret.

Oh! I would very much like to read this book or watch the dvd of this. I saw something about it on the Ellen Degeneres show. and what the two men described sounded fantastic. Have you tried it yourself, and has it been working so far? I am very curious about this, it sounds like such a peculiar (in the good sense) thing. :D

Highly recommended

I loved the movie. Bought 3 of the DVD’s for people I care about. Now I must decide which 3 to give the movies to :)

Just finished watching it an hour ago. Can’t see how it won’t help improve my quality of life. Definitely won’t hurt it thats for sure.

Just Say No!

Its total rubbish, packed with pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumbo, and boring bedsides.

If you follow the logic of the film, all those Jews who were killed by the Nazis deep down really wanted to be killed.

It’s really badly made- terribly filmed with rotten acting. The music is probably the worst I’ve heard in a film that isn’t pornographic.

Avoid.

Objective are we?

I think anything that moves people to improve their quality of life is worth seeing. I can only imagine the structured life of the narrow minded writer that gleaned nothing from this.

Perhaps in the least it might motivate to fulfill your life-long dream of cooking more beans :)

What I will agree with is the poor acting,(These are doctors, philosophers and authors – NOT ACTORS) but it is clearly marketed and openly professes to be of a documentary style. So, if you are expecting Schindlers List or any other Oscar winner then this will fall short.

If you want a nudge and some spirit to achieve those elusive goals like owning a suit, shoes or making lemonade then this film should do the trick ;)
