madamwitty is checking in on 43T after a 3 year hiatus

make my own cards (read all 10 entries…)
The problem is getting started

I set myself the goal of making 10 cards and I have had ample opportunity, but as each special occasion rolls around, I get too lazy to pull out all the materials and make a card. What I think I need to do is just set aside one day every year (or maybe every six months) where I just pull out all my crafting stuff and go wild making cards for the following year. As with many large projects in my life, the problem is just getting started.

Comments:

What about looking ahead for the next 6 months and writing downt he types of cards you may need during this period.

Kids Birthday
Adult Birthday
Mothers / Fathers Day
Happy Easter
Congrats! (Exam resutls etc.)
New Baby Boy
New Baby Girl

And start my making these.

I set aside one evening per week, anything else is a bonus! I get the kids in bed for around 8pm, make a cup of tea and lift out my craft stuff, then work till about midnight. Even if I only make one card or do one layout, I feel happy!

Then widen the goal posts to the end of the year, leaving your Chrismtas ones till last.
