stop apologizing
this seems to be a common problem... 2 years ago

I have been told by several of my friends as well: “stop apologizing, it’s annoying!” and of course, as someone pointed out before, I have to catch myself before I apologize for apologizing. It’s ridiculous!!

Saying “I’m sorry” has become an automatic response to anything slightly negative – even when it has nothing to do with me. I shouldn’t have to feel obligated to take the blame simply to make others feel better!

From now on, I am trying to express myself differently. For example: to say instead, “I feel bad that…” or “I sympathize…” when someone tells me something unfortunate. And I will only apologize when I have actually done something to offend: no more “sorry”’s for bumping into people – most of the time it isn’t my fault anyway! :)

Notasyetaflyer I've finally found sum ballz, but I'm afraid they might be expired

I've got one.

I rarely say “I’m sorry” (I’m lying- sorry about that). But anywayz, I’ve been known to say the phrase “my bad” when I make a mistake. I even use it with teachers and they dont mind. They just laugh. Some people might see that phrase as being “ghetto”, but in my environment it is understood and highly accepted by all. ( I go to a Catholic, all girls skool)

P.S. – NUns rock! lol
