Without question, hands down – A Complicated Kindness, but also, 27, 33 and 41 too. Oh, and 50 (another Douglas Adams book, but nonfiction). Hmmm, I don’t seem to like picking favorites.

I’m with ya on 31 – totally creepy – kinda bad creepy.

Feeling Hopeful wonders why the titles of many of my entries lately have been numbers.

I’ve read 25, 35, 39, and 41. I own, but have not yet read “Girl With a Pearl Earring” and “The Simarillion”.

Are either of them good enough to read as my next book?

I’ve also seen so many people post about “A Complicated Kindness” that I’m considering buying it soon.

I don’t recommend the Simarillion at all! Girl with a Pearl Earring was okay, but if I had to recommend only one book from this post, it would be A Complicated Kindness. I would recommend it over and over and over again.
