~Books~

I don’t have any of those books and haven’t read any of them either.
I have heard Jodi Picoult books are good so I might give some of them a try when I buy some more books.
The books I have bought lately are:

Morrigan’s Cross by Nora Roberts

Wicked by Gregory Maguire

Love at First Bite: WITH “Until Death Do Us Part” AND “Ride the Night Wind” AND “Gift” AND “Forgotten” by Sherrilyn Kenyon et al

Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison

Retribution by Jilliane Hoffman

The Bad Mothers Handbook by Kate Long

Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson

Those are the books I have bought in the last couple of weeks. I am currently reading Morrigan’s Cross as well as Memoirs of a Geisha.

You can see more of my books at:

Although I don’t have anything too exciting and don’t own many books but my collection is slowly growing :o)

I don’t know when I will get round to reading The Bad Mother’s Handbook but I hope it’s soon. There was a TV adaption on of that book the other week and that was good so I had to get to book :o)

ume

yay for good books! :)

Enjoy Nina – looks like you’ve got some good reading there. The only one I’ve read on your list was Principle-Centred Leadership (strangely enough I’ve never read the seven habits) and I got a lot out of it – well worth the read.

Cool

we have a book in common :) You’re not the only one Ume, I’m yet to read the 7 Habits, though I’ve listened to the audio book several times now. love its simplicity and how it stands true despite our changing times. If reading the book is too laborious, I highly recommend the audiobook. Let me know if you need more info on this. Take care dear Ume!

Wow.

I almost don’t know what to say….

heh.. @lmost…

Tribute to Sheldon

who passed away recently, I shall pick up “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”. Am gonna start reading it tonight. Then moving on to Picoult or Covey, depending on my mood after reading Sheldon. Actually, it’s hard to pick, like choosing chocolate from a Milk Tray ;)

wow!

wow! I’m impressed that you bought a whole years worth of books!

I’ve read the Jodi Piccoult books (I love My Sister’s Keeper), and the mind maps one sounds familiar…
I wonder which one will be your favourite, at the end of the year when you’ve read them all…

My first Picoult

was Tenth Circle. It was such a pleasant surprise to discover that her writing style appealed to me significantly. I love her use of prose and imagery, very vivid and moving. I shall look fwd to reading My Sister’s Keeper, looking at the synopsis, it already sounds like a compelling read.. :)
