All my life I’ve been classically trained in piano and voice, including learning operatic pieces. I even went to college as a voice major for a year! I would LOOOOVE to go to an opera, probably one in Italian. I’ll see if I can get my boyfriend to go with me. Any recommendations on ones to see or where to go to see it?

1. The Tales of Hoffmann by Offenbach.
2. The Barber of Seville by Rossini & Cesare Sterbini.
3. The Magic Flute by Mozart.
4. Porgy & Bess by George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin, & DuBose Heyward.
I’m not an opera expert, but I just love these ones.
