For example: I need to look at all my syllabi and revise them according to new realities. I’m afraid that I will see something there that I should have known about (like an exam) but forgot about. But of course that can only be solved by my looking at them (!) But I’m afraid to look at them. Around and around I can (potentially) go. I think I’ll just look at them.

Ok, I did one. And there are no grave disasters hidden therein. I have to revise my GR syllabus slightly, to wit:
1. I need to change the schedule of exams. This is relatively easy, since it just means pushing everything back a week except the last one. The last one will cover less.
2. Clarify how much the homework is worth. I need to talk to JS about this to ask him what he did.
3. Clarify that a) I will always take the homework late; b) all makeup tests will be done at the end of the term and c) they will all have the option of taking any test again at the end of the term.
