I got my start when I was 16 my mom worked in sales at a local radio station and talked them into letting me try a late night weekend spot. I was hooked from day one! I then went on to work as the music director for a local college station and then moved on to a top 40 station working 12-6 at first and then moved on to mid days from 10-2. It was almost like being a rock star with all the groupies and crazy people hanging around. I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world. It just didn’t pay very much in my local market.
Some of the best days of my life!

Awesome! I work in the sales department for my stations and I can’t wait to be a DJ. I will soon learn all the tips and tricks…I’ve already started doing commercials so that’s a plus. =) I’m glad you are doing what you love!
