I would like to be fluent in several languages. Ideally I’d be fluent in a romantic language (preferably Italian but I already know French) and a germanic language other than English. So far I’m fluent in English and French.

Towards this goal I am currently working on Norwegian and Danish (they are very closely related), and may add Swedish to the mix.

Eventually I’d like to learn Italian since it’s such a wonderfully vivacious language. Pragmatically I should probably learn Chinese (Mandarin?) as they will own our country soon enough.
