I was a stripper for a year. I worked at 3 different clubs. The money is awesome, the dancing is fun. But you can’t do it forever. I did it long enough to buy a lot of drugs, alcohol, dinners at Ihop, conert tickets, clothes, clothes, clothes, make-up, lots of stripper clothes, and a car. Then I quit. My suggestion, get in there, don’t trust anyone, do your thing, no matter how nice someone seems remember you met them at a strip club, don’t get coked up or become a drunk, get what you need from it and go to school. Thats how you don’t go down the stripper toilet. If anyone has any questions I’m very willing to answere when it comes to this subject.

my friends tell me that stripping is something u just kinda fall into, but i have been wanting/planning to be one for so long. i haven’t told anyone because who really PLANS to be a stripper when they grow up? my only concern is being uncomfortable/shy. i live in oregon where its legal to smoke/drink hard A in these places and u have to get completely naked. how did u break into that shell? did u have to drink the first few times?
I wanted to be a dancer since I was 13. The first girl I had a crush on was 21 and danced at a place called Body Talk, she sorta inspiered me. Believe me most of the girls I’ve met who dance started at 18 because they’ve always wanted to do that. I never worked at a totaly nude place, I’ve heard horror stories you wouldn’t believe! Guys burning girls pussies with lighters, guys putting their nasty fingers where they don’t belong. To start out, work at a topless bar, where you have a thong on at all times. And if you need to have a couple drinks, don’t get shitty drunk and get on stage then bust your ass. For a while when I first started dancing I was not allowed to drink and I felt pretty awkward and embarassed, eventually when I became friends with everyone they let me drink and it helped me hussle. But before you start indulging in all the fun substances strip clubs have to offer, get your groove, learn a few different dance routines, get used to talking to strange nasty men, and even if you feel shy and uncomfortable, remember, you are in control not the men. Just tell yourself when you’re feeling shy “I am the shit, I am sexy, this guy wants to pay me to act like I like him because I am hot and he is a fucking loser.” Oh, and remember, if you do start dancing, have your own style and don’t listen to any negativity coming from the girls. They will probably try to make you feel like shit because you’re a new girl, NEW GIRLS MAKE MONEY$ And before you start go on youtube.com or something and see how the dancing is done, if you don’t already know. Learn pole tricks and if you’re lucky like me, you’ll go to a club where most of the girls are lazy, so when you get up there and fly around the pole guys will give you their paychecks because you have caught their eyes. Keep me updated if you do start, I’m always willing to help.
Peace.
badass! i will definatly use ur advice wisely, thank u. yeah i will probably start to work in Washington instead of Oregon because they have diff club laws. so how do i learn these dance routines? just be observant when i go to nudie bars or actually read up/watch videos? i know how to do it, i just dont know if i can keep it up for 2 songs! i also have no idea how to do any cool pole tricks, i should look into that.
Yeah, just go to a few strip clubs, go to a sex shop and see if they have any erotic dance videos, if they sell stripper clothes they usually have dance videos. Just be observant if you go to a club and check it out. Watch the rotation of girls a few times, you’ll see that probably most of them have the same routines. I’ve watched so many girls so many times I can pretty much tell every single move their gonna do, it isn’t possible to be totaly different every time. But when you learn a lot of pole tricks you’ll be able to make it look different when you want. Most girls who have been in the game a long time don’t care about switching it up and you’ll notice that. Before I started dancing I went to a playground and messed around on the fireman pole they have and it actually helped my audition, when I told them I had never danced they were shocked because I wasn’t afraid to grab the pole and swing on it the first time ever on stage. So it helps to have a tiny bit of knowledge. And even though you don’t want to get too friendly with the girls (remember you can’t trust anyone in the business), a few of them may want to help you learn pole tricks. So take advantage of that. Hit me back!

reading everything you wrote just made me somewhat determined to go and do this work.i am very nervous about the type of outfits i should get.i have been to several stripclubs and i really don’t want to show too much when i am hassling.i did this once but the place was empty.well i want to know how you would get guys to come with you for a dance.Does it pay to be somewhat conservative.i am starting work in a few weeks time.i would like to know what the best outfits are to get for a beginner.exactly how much can one expect to make in a week?Thank you
Not sure
Hey,
Im only 19 just old enough to become a dancer here in Canada.
I would just like to know what kind of dancing that you do on stage? I used to be a gymnast and a dancer, would I do flexable things or???? any respond greatly appreciated!
thanx xox
Is it better to work at a high class club with a lot of competition or a crappy club with no competition but not as many rich people?
and how much time does it take up? Because im planning on being that weird oxymoron of a girl that goes to an ivy league and stips.
btw, ur advice is great, good job. =)
