The Secret of Eating for Pleasure

I highly recommend reading French Women Don’t Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano. It gives eating tips such as to savor slowly for satisfaction; to achieve balance, proportion, and moderation; to choose quality over quantity; to have “weekend rewards” to have little indulgences of some of your favorite foods; and overall excellent advice about consuming foods with pleasure. My passion is nutrition and health, so I am very interested in these topics: about eating healthy-well-balanced meals, and having a diet that doesn’t make extreme restrictions.

French

I saw this book and was tempted to buy it but then I said to myself…that’s a lie, I have french in me and I’m chubby. Ha Ha Ha!

how seductive...to eat like a french woman

I’m going to try it too (though I am a man). But in the meantime, I am going to have the goal to at least smell like a Frenchman. I think women would be excited to find a man who smells like a Frenchman. Oui?

je cher co' le homme francais

ok…ok…I have no idea what that means…but it looks good…and I’ll bet most non-francophones would never know the difference.

Oui, mon cheri, most frenchmen have outrageously horrendous body odour.

But that’s ok…it’s all relative…kind of like thermodynamics…if all items are warm, then they don’t radiate to each other. If all people smell strong, then they might not notice each other. The problem is when a French soldier and an American soldier are standing next to each other…wait a minute…when has that ever happened? Anyway, you get the idea.

As for the garlic, I just rubbed cilantro and olive oil all over by body, but if you like garlic, then I’ll start using crushed garlic and balsamic vinegar. I’ll even squeegee my ears with basil.
