I started volunteering at a local school daycare last September, and I realised that I am so much happier now! I go there almost daily after school to take care of the kindergarteners, and they are super sweet! Their bright smile and hugs totally make my day, and it takes a lot of stress off my shoulders—I’m happy at the end of the day, and so are the people who accepted my help. I know that some people don’t have it that easy, but it is still worth a try! If I had known that volunteering would be this great, I would have started earlier!
