Hooray! 119.8 (-30.2)

It feels unreal, I can’t believe I actually lost 30 pounds. It took a lot of hard word, determination, and patience. Patience was the most important thing of all, because if you want the weight to stay off, you have to take it off slowly. I also lost almost 10% body fat, went from a size 10 to a size 4, and I feel much more normal.

Amazing Job.

That is simply amazing, you did such a amazing job. A 10 to a 4? Jesus ;; Well since you’ve already gone through it i really wanna loose 30 pounds before like June? Do you think thats really possible. Give some suggestions. How to eat? Stay Healthy? What to do. If you could that would be so great =] <33

Thanks.
30 pounds by June is really fast. I worked really really hard, and I started in October. I’m training for a traithlon, so I work out about 4 hours a week. Right now I cycle 2 x a week, run about 10 miles a week, and swim about 1800m a week. I eat very healthy, and try to get enough protein, healthy fats, and whole grains, etc. I give myself 1 cheat day a month. For instance, my cheat days were Thanksgiving, Christmas, and family birthday celebrations. Good luck. The hardest part is keeping up the changes, and being patient, because real change takes time.

how did u do it?????

I really enjoyed reading your diary for this goal because I am experiencing so many of the same challenges. I’m not patient, I weigh myself every day (can’t resist), and I have mostly plateaus with an occasional loss. I feel like I don’t have a life because on my diet (for now) I can barely eat out and I can’t drink. Also, I feel obsessed with counting carbs (my version of your calorie counting). I miss being carefree about diet, but then again that’s what got me to 30 pounds overweight. I also struggle with motivation to exercise, though I’ve at least started on that now. Seeing you went through this, stuck with it, and made it to your goal is really helpful. Have you been able to keep it off without being obsessive like you hoped?
