I hate running. I just don’t understand how people can run and run in the heat when you could get the same work out, in an air conditioned gym. It has just never occured to me why yet.
Comments:
the tao of running
We often need to link our routines to some sort of purpose, like leaving our normal boundaries, if we are to make progress. Running is excellent at making us see our own physical limitations, but when we confront these limitations in a new environment we are inspired to be more than we have ever been before.
“The road to enlightenment is narrow and as difficult to walk as the razor’s edge”
From the Upanishads
Well lesson number one:
Never EVER run in the heat. That’s awful. If you live in a tropical climate, I can understand that you prefer the AC gym. Though if possible, try running late in the evening if it’s not to hot.
