The Funny part is that a well planned trip can be way more fun and less stressful than a spontaneous one. You have 3 years to plan. You’ll have the incentive to work and save. The fun deciding on where to go, searching the net for the kind of experiences you are hoping to enjoy. Personally I enjoy natural or historical destinations. But you could combine recreational with social with education. Attending the Burning Man Festival would be a great discovery.

I envy you, You have 3 yrs to explore yourselves and America to create an experience you can never forget. It’s a once in a life time opportunity, don’t waste it with some spring break mentality. You have a lifetime to be a fool.
