that’s probably the answer! I’ll only manage it till I fall asleep probably though, but that’s a start.
Sleeping on my left is best for me too cos my husband is that side, and also it is said to aid digestion in the stomach.
The thing I mention about November is that is when I first started to notice my joint felt stiff and sore – I had been sitting cross legged on the sofa to do some reading and suddenly I found myself unable to. Prior to then, I had been using a yoga DVD with some seated asanas – these involved similar leg positions that I am finding difficult at the moment – on the 15th November I made an entry which said I had found myself a little stiff and that certain postures caused a clicking in the joints, so it could be that I DID injure myself :(
Slowly getting my range of movement back though, last two nights I have sat cross legged and felt the stretch in the hip!
remember if it hurts dont do it

Good luck
To my knowledge a poping in a joint could mean that something is out of place or it is just air in the joint. It is none of my bussiness , but if you have had a child that very well could be some of the problem my wife had to go to a chiroprator.

Intersting about the sitting cross-legged.
I kind of think this whole thing started a few years ago when I started using my laptop computer in the car. I’d sit (parked) in the driver’s seat with the laptop on the passenger seat, while typing. After that I started noticing the right hip problems. My guess is the side-sleeping without pillow between legs made things worse.
Hope you’re feeling better!
