Bosses don't hear that often enough.

Trust me. They don’t hear the good stuff…at least not in a sincere manner. They do, however, hear about all kinds of things that they have no control over. Little petty, backstabbing…oh, nevermind…I think you did a great thing and I’m sure your boss was pleased!
