This local ABC anchorman announced this morning that tomorrow morning he’s going to undergo surgery to donate a kidney to a friend of his. He made it all about the friend who’s life he’s hoping to improve. It was moving and inspiring. So I wrote him a note of support.

TV news

...is in a very sad state.

Like today they are trying to find some one to blame for the Virginia Tech shootings other than the shooter. “Some one should have known!” WHAT? This has happened a handful of times…how is anyone to seriously deal with a person like this in advance? Oh, I’m not going to go on. Sigh. Should turn off The Today Show.
