I don’t know how far you have gone with this goal, but for a while now that I’ve been wanting to learn how to skate. I’ve tried skating once when I was about 7 or 8. I fell and never tried it ever again.
Today, I’m thinking I want to skate, so I went to buy me a pair for $30. Just basically a really cheap one to start me off. If you’re saying that 30 bucks is something you don’t have, I think it’s time you start learning how to save money. Whether it’ll be allowance or simple paycheck. Saving is the best way to earn anything and you can be proud of it.
Don’t give up just because you can’t find someone to teach you. If you walk on the street and see someone skates, try going over to the person and ask him or her questions about skating. You’d be surprise if you can get some good advices, and plus, a chance to make new friend.
I have a good pair of roller skates. I learned how to do that when I was four. Skateboards require much more quality. $100 at least. And I get no allowance, I can’t get a job cuz no one will hire a 14 year-old so money really is an issue here. Plus, my mom is a single parent with two kids. She can’t afford it. And I need some things for my guitar like a better amp and a capo. So, I say once again, I give up.
