Start running and keep on running (read all 6 entries…)
three days and running! 2 years ago

Went for a run on sunday, short, and it felt good though I had a hint of knee pain. Ran yesterday with my wife, slow pace, felt good. Ran this evening, not long, felt good.

I think I need a new lacing strategy because the soles of my feet were burning! But, no knee pain and I ran!!!!!

my experience

it is my experience that when I start running again after a long pause, I will have all sorts of temporary aches and pains all over my body during first few runs. I interpret it as my body trying to trick me and deter me from running. After few runs its normally OK. Great that you started again !
