paint all my warhammer army
My son and I have just gotten into Warhammer

I used to play a lot of historical miniatures, and had looked at Warhammer but never really got into it. Now that my oldest son is 12, we’ve picked up Warhammer as something we can do together. We just started the project this past weekend by browsing at the hobby shop and picking up the rulebook and a couple of issues of White Dwarf. We’re currently trying to decide which armies we want to start with. He’s looking at probably going with Vampire Counts. I can’t decide between Empire and High Elves, but am leaning slightly toward High Elves.

What Army

So what army(s) did you and your son select? I’d love to see pictures and/or read battle reports.

I just bought 2 Tomb Lord Battalion boxes. I also plan on getting Battle for Skull Pass and making a small band of Dwarfs.

I paint very slowly, and try for a high standard. Tomb Lords are easy to paint, so I think they’ll hit the table quickly. The Dwarf Band could take some time.

I’ve played 40K for a couple of years, but have yet to paint and complete an army. That changes soon, because I am so finishing my Necrons. After that, I’ll work on more Space Marines.
