have a meaningful relationship

Worth doing!

Relationships are a learning experience!  — 1 year ago

I had a very meaningful realtionship which ended very badly. At first I was very bitter and jaded and couldn’t see the meaning in the past 2 years I had “wasted.”

But after moving past the hurt, I realized there was boundless meaning in that time we had spent together. What I learned from that relationship is knowledge I wouldn’t have acquired otherwise. I gained great insight on who I am as a person and what I want from the next meaningful relationship I have. I also made some HUGE mistakes: things I shouldn’t have done, things I wish I would have… And that, too, has made me grow as a person.

So I guess the real point of what I’m saying is find meaning. It’s there, in every experience that we have. Even the ones we view as “pure crap.”

And don’t compromise yourself. Hold out for something that’s worth your time and energy. Because really, life’s too short to waste on something that you know is going to be a bust going into it.

But really, I guess I would just say love with your all and hope for the best. Good luck, and I genuinely hope that all of you find great meaning with a great person! :)

Lovely entry...

You’re right on track! Giving good advice to others, too… A+

Consider this a cheer—I am out of them for the evening… but I will be back to cheer you for this one, for sure!
